Gee, Adam....what positive thinking for a Sunday! Are you upset over losing an hour of sleep?
Seriously, though. Cisco has a clearly dominant position in this market but your logic assumes that there is no room for any more than one company. This is unlikely.
I can't tell you what is going to happen to the stock price (sorry) but there is certainly room in the industry for Bay and Cisco in the enterprise accounts. While the Accelar sales sound like they are slower than planned, the technology must be having an impact on the market or else Cisco wouldn't have had to pre-announce their 8500 (meaning before they were ready to ship).
So, what am I saying?
Simply that...somewhere between a $100 Bay stock price and having them become "toast" is the truth. There is a lot of room for Bay and Cisco to do battle in technology over the coming year. It will be interesting to watch and see how the investors respond.
So, relax and have a nice Sunday...Try to get some sleep...b-)
