greg,
Is there anything better coming along that could sweep PIXT?
"Better" can mean anything like: less power consumption, better resolution, brighter, cheaper to make etc. etc.? Don't want to get blind sided. I really don't know much about the technology of this.
I did notice PIXT was in my database which means I looked at it a while back. Didn't act though. Seems the downgrade has stopped it in its tracks...which could mean a buying opportunity.
Jim

Lehman on PIXT:

Back when pixtech was hovering at $3 a share Lehman issued
a "buy-VS" (very speculative) with a target of $5 and a year's
worth of earnings projections - losses, of course, but not big ones. The12-month target was $5, it exceeded that and they followed their own advice with a downgrade after it surpassed the target.

You can get all excited about partnerships and development or patents but that doesn't mean squat if the science doesn't budge in your direction for a profitable application. So you should view a stake as you would for a biotech, maintaining survival for long enough to get that blockbuster product developed before the need is fulfilled by competitive technology.

The purchase of 1 million shares was a confidence builder and profile raiser but it of course is also significantly dilutive. So anyway its nice to know the stock can acquire legs with only a small interest but it will still be visiting the under-5 region for a while.
If it continue down I'll buy some and triple down if it is halved from there.
