MiriamsSon, My post was not intended to be directed at you. I am sorry if you took it that way. There have just been numerous posters (like the person who posted a harmful false press release) that have taken advantage of the visitor program. And I have run into several the last couple of weeks.

I don't mind people presenting their opinions and thoughts on a stock. What I do object to is, people coming on just for the sake of harassing the current shareholders when they have no intention of ever actually joining SI.

There have been people taking on multiple personalities for the sake of either hyping or bashing a stock. And I dislike both approaches. Bashing or hyping only hurts the shareholders.

I know there are a lot of good people that are just checking out SI to see if it is worthwhile. I am not opposed to that. It is just too bad that a few people make a very bad impression for everyone. And I guess I have run into all of the bad ones lately. The money has never really been the issue.

Cheryl

Cheryl's point about the visitor program is simply that it is being
abused. None of us have problems with new people coming in, and if
the visitors are simply investors wanting to try the service that's
great. I completely agree though that a few people are seriously
abusing the program by creating multiple personalities and by using it
as a way to accomplish their own agendas.

Someone once said that SI is complete based on trust. I can tell you
that in the couple of years I have been a member I have gotten to know
some really great people. I have found a handfull of people that if
they tell me a stock is a good deal I know I can buy first and do my
DD later, but only a very small handfull.

Personally I'm tired of people running their mouths off in SI and not
even having to post an email address. My profile contains a ton of
info about me, and a link to my web site which has more. There isn't
any cause to think that I am anyone other than who I say I am. When
I post on a thread, it's because I either own the stock, or I'm doing
DD. As soon as I decide not to invest I don't hang around harrassing
everyone, I simply go find a stock I do want to invest in. I don't
have any agenda other than the free exchange of information and the
pooling of our investigative abilities. I also like to try and learn
from the more experienced investors here, and I have actually gotten
a good deal of my education here on SI.

Personally, (and perhaps incorrectly) I feel that I am the kind of
person that SI was designed for and if everyone followed the rules
above that this would be a wonderful thing. Unfortunately it doesn't
always work that way.

I get the point you feel imposed upon.Well,at this moment for the record I am sending in my payment to SI and also enough for you...

I also am feeling imposed upon. Please remit payment for my SI membership as well. When the transaction has been consummated, have "your people" call "my people" and they'll do lunch.
