Solid - When I see a bunch of lemmings heading for the cliff, I view it with heart felt anticipation - not disdain. Hey! Look! - Free lunch!!! It still takes a bit of effort you know - pull off the heads, rip off the skins and then have to gut the little stinkers, but a meal is a meal even if it is still twitching. Yum yum.

This baby's dance steps can be dangerous though - for this baby dances with wolves. Particularly, for the shorts. Morgan Stanley just happens to be one of the top 5 market makers for NeoMagic. (Montgomery Securities and Robertson Stephens lead this particular sorry pack.)

I suspect that Morgan Stanley's upgrade was timed to help them and their clients get out in the face of the declining volume and price that we saw over the prior week. Keep in mind - Mr. Stanley thought Neo was much less of a screaming buy when it was 13 in January. (such brilliance can be rightful cause for disdain). Their timing is of dubious value but I think the call is correct.

We can do Morgan Stanley and their clients a big favor here. Particularly their short clients. We can continue to buy this stock with the renewed confidence that such a strong recommendation brings. We can refuse to sell and buy more when the MM try to bully the price toward 17 1/2 for options expiration in two weeks.

The Vectorvest model now shows Neo's value increasing to $37.80! And to think - at one point I thought I might sell my shares at $30. Hah - no way.

The predators have forced my hand and my hand is this: I have loaded up and will buy more on any weakness. May the force be with you.
