My pink and white stripes are not tacky. They are elegantly Victorian and they have a sexy black border with roses at the top of the 12 foot ceilings. And the woodwork is clean and white. As are the appliances. And if you had two teenage boys you'd buy your dishes at WalMart, too.
Someday my Spode will come...
I am told my article will be in the August edition of Parents Magazine and I expect everyone to buy a copy and write a letter to the editor saying Parents has discovered the writer of the millennium and to pay her a lot of money for more articles.

the advantage of earthenware,
and of french bistro glasses (which i prefer
frozen...) is this exact quality.

why is it i can boast superior hand/eye coordination,
but i tend to drop things on a regular basis?

at least the frozen glasses bounce unharmed...stemware
is not as resilient, i'm afraid. and it doesn't exactly chip like
earthenware.

I was always under the impression that it was honestogawd porcelain. High-fired kaolinite, with patterns glazed on. Do I need disabusing?
