How do you know about how much of the authorized shares have been sold already and how much is still waiting to be pumped and dumped?

I tried yesterday datek and they have told me that they can not borrow sgares. and today it is already 4 down. I guess it is too good to be true and you really can not short bb unless there is some way around it that I do not know.
