It's been more than 5 years since I worked in the IBM mainframe industry, and I'd like to forget everything technical I learned while I was in that field!!

But seriously, I think the Y2K problems won't be fixed in time. The only way I see it happening is if thousands of computer people volunteered a few hours a week of their time to sit down and fix everything. I might be willing to help out at the local school district, but I would absolutely refuse to help the IRS fix any Y2K problems, even if they paid me large sums of money. Their systems can crash & burn!! (Ok, I'm a bit grouchy today after working on my taxes.)
