Re your first two paragraphs - yes, I know, and agree that valuations will likely come in higher, that's why I'm holding a few nominal shares and have mpv on my watch list.

Re cfv - I keep meaning to look into camphor and have never made the time yet. It's pretty hard here in the spring, there's so much to do. Nice move on Friday on low volume, worth watching for sure. Gold and silver have really grabbed my attention lately, though. Also oil. But I'll have a look at it tomorrow since you said that.

Re - 'all my info' - It's not all that much -g- ... mostly from flipping around company websites and SI threads and newswire releases, along with some written stuff, like fifty years of compulsive encyclopaedia reading. Kaiser's Jan-Feb 98 issue is almost entirely about diamonds, worth reading imho if you can get your hands on a copy. Also Midland Walwyn's Feb 98 'Canadian Diamond Companies', if you have a friend with a Midland account he/she could pick you up one. I find George Tromp extremely knowledgeable, but he is often reluctant to express an opinion on a thread as he is quite sensitive to the mindless sort of flaming that we see out of posters such as sunset.
I have no such sensitivity.

Always a pleasure to speak with you, skelly .... off to the garden now (glorious West Coast spring afternoon) ...... have a good one ....... cheers ....... macros
