If you are worried about ram, check out the second section on 'Stop Windows 95 from Wildly Accessing your Hard Disk' at the following link.

Windows95 Annoyances:

Windows 95 will put far too big a disk cache in, reducing the memory available for your programs. I am using 4096 min, 12288 max. Just don't use a minimum of 0.
