What do you guys think of HUM being the target of GEAC that everyone is talking about. They could move HUM;s earnings to their higher multiple.

This PC/X market share press release was issued twice. Once on 3/31 and again on 4/3. Are they shouting at us? Does anyone think they are trying to tell us something. Could they be trying to tell us that the earnings this month will be really good? Why would they come out with such a positive press release two weeks before earnings if the earnings weren't going to be at least OK. It seems it would be very misleading to come out with such bullish news at this time followed by mediocre (or worse) earnings. Just the ramblings of a somewhat deranged bull. Bill.

Are you sure that the release date of the first quarterly results is 22 of April? When I spoke with one of Hum staffs on April 6, she said that the date have not been decided, but it should be one of the third week, which is between 13 and 17 of April. She asked me to call again in the next week, if I want to confirm the date. It is not surprising to find out that they decide the release date in the last minute. 15 of April could be the date of the first quarterly report.
