Dear Judy,
since I know You got some profound insight into the Y2K scene I would like to hear Your opinion on UCMP, a stock that was on one of the watch lists on this thread thru the last weeks.

To sum up my stance (should give You my bias <G>, I know that the street is currently valueing the "body shop" comps like SYNT to a high extent. OTOH the "tool shops" like PTUS, ALYD, DDIM got punished. For me the sector is overvalued in terms of PSR rating. Only exception being UCMP which has a nice PSR ratio and is profita le also.

It's no body shop, that's fine with me. I don't believe it's innovative to outsource STRATEGIC resource. Better control them with a little help from outside. The only weakness I see is that UCMP is big into AS/400, for me a prime target for corporate downsizing strategies (reduce the big blue dependence <G>). But, it also got some Unix products. What I don't see are Windows NT platform ports. Any info regarding this ? It looks very attractive on valuation but I would like an expert opinion like Yours..

regards
CROSSY
