No, I don't remember that woman. I do recall, now that you mention it, that in many periods throughout history, diseased (remember the lepers?) and crippled people have been shunned by various religious people because they were thought to have the mark of the Devil on them, or would bring bad luck to the community.

I am so glad you brought that up. It is interesting to show how, as we have become less superstitious and found out more about the real causes of different afflictions, that most people are no longer so afraid, and have become more tolerant and accepting of these people.

And I believe that exactly the same process will occur with homosexuals, once the causes are identified, and people no longer associate it with child molesting, or believe that it is contagious!!
