Getcher,

The mid/longer term analysis is saying that this bull market is intact and that we will still move up.

However, we should get some sort starting this week and carrying into next week. Most of my analysis is saying that the interim top should arrive TUE/WED, and I have one indicating that it could be as early as tomorrow.

Nothing big, and see the first strong support line at 8750.

With the surprising economic report on Friday, interest rates are now at comfortable levels, and they have actually broken the short-term uptrend channel to the downside.

Earnings are now being discounted, so with the liquidity and interest rates where they are - we should still move up. But technically we need a little breather which would actually help further upward movements.

Seeya

Hi Getcher,

Not holding over 9000 did not help.I think the Asian crisis (Japan) is going to hit the world markets soon. I am a big believer in the saying the trend is your friend. But a couple of BIG down days this week should change the trend.
