To All;

I'm a newcomer here though I have been posting on the AAPL thread for some time and discovered a few days ago that there was a thread for CTAL.

I also read the last two hundred posts here. Not as much high drama as AAPL (you're all invited to visit) but a very intelligent series of posts. Nice thread.

Re: CTAL. I purchased 500 shares just before the warrants offering, which I subscribed to for a total of 666. I bought on the advice of a fund analyst who spoke of the monster growth of revenues that the market wasn't accounting for.

Since then, as the price went down/sideways, I figured I made a mistake and I'd unload on good news. At the Pratt & Whitney news I sold (to raise cash) at 13 1/8. Following the relative strength in the stock I repurchased 500 shares yesterday at 14 1/4.

I consider my style to be aggressive, value oriented and buy/hold. My other stock holdings are BGEN, GENZ and AAPL. My criteria for stock ownership are excellent management, diversified product lines with technological edges, rich balance sheets -- or access to financing and that the company be held in relatively low esteem at the time of purchase.

The rest of my portfolio is closed/open-end mutual funds (55% foreign).

I think I have a layman's handle on CTAL's products but would like comments on the following questions:

1) What is the likelihood that CTAL will have to do additional equity financing?

2) What do other investors here feel is a reasonable projection the company's growth rate and P/E?

3) What is the tangible book value CTAL vs. how much are the different units worth on a buyout?

4) Who are CTAL's competitors? What competing technologies should an investor in this company be aware of?

5) Institutional ownership is 69% (2/28 Schwab research reports ). Is this good or bad?

6) What are investor's price targets/time frames?

7) What do investors feel is the biggest threat to this company's future? OR What's the most important question I haven't asked?

I'll take all answers as opinions and guidelines by which to frame my own research.

Thanks in advance.
