Hi Franklin....

When you complete your sales, I will miss you as a regular contributor to this thread. But, as you well know, all of us must march to our own drummer.

Insofar as your assessment of the elder Buchanan's overbearing "beating up" of the telephone operator some phone calls ago...

...I have not worked with him or *for* him, so I can't be certain that he is as difficult a boss as he appears to be. On the other hand, it hasn't been lost on me that there is significant employee turnover at his firm, including some reasonably good people that have gone on to much greener pastures. I hope all of them are doing well in their present locations.

I can only speak for myself, Frank...and upon meeting Mr. Buchanan for the first time during last year's annual meeting (remember, the firm refused to allow me...living in the state immediately west of TFS...to attend a broker's meeting for local brokers solely because I was from out of state. I found that interesting, particularly since I already held close to five percent of the outstanding shares!!! I have to admit...this has somewhat "colored" my view of the intellectual acuity of senior managers.), I shook his hand, and requested the "right" to call him in the future if I had questions.

His response?

There is no point in your calling. I don't give out inside information. I paraphrase of course, not recollecting the exact language he used because the conversation is nearly a year old. But, and this is important, Mr. Raefon was standing right by my shoulder when I asked Buchanan if I could call him. He will be happy to confirm my assertion. It should be noted, of course, that I never even discussed with him what questions I would want answered. Moreover, it was particularly insulting for him to intimate that I would *act* on "insider information," which is illegal. I think that this comment set our "joint fate" in stone.

I note with a somewhat ironic view...if this is how he treats large holders of his stock, what reasonable chance does *he* have to attract additional institutional investors?

Anyway Franklin...I wish you well in all of your future pursuits, be they investment oriented or personal...and hope that our paths will run across each other on one thread or another in the not too distant future.

Take care of yourself.

If you owned the stock on March 13, you control the vote at the shareholder meeting slated for April 23.
