Thomas, I joined SI mainly due to this thread so that I could communicate with other contrarians. What makes this thread unique besides the wealth of information and team spirit is that new members are given a warm welcome. I know it meant a lot to me when I joined. Good luck on the article. So pleased Uve been asked 2 write SI article, Tom. I'm completely awed by the scholarly and persistent research and valued opines offered since my "chilling post" on Friday. Digging into the dusty tomes of relatively recent global fiscal gold vs. fiat 1920-1932 history, shed light on gold's relevance in the 1990 global economy is part and parcel of our corporate mission as SI GPMers. I'm pleased to have played a part. I will now embark upon providing the "laity" version of this corporate effort recorded since Friday on this thread. I truly hope the import of this dusting of the global "gold vs. fiat" tomes helps GPMers to plan for the enormity of change that lies directly in our paths w/in ANOTHER's "2 year" window. Incidentally, I have shared publically and privately a similar time frame conviction before I ever heard of ANOTHER. I pluck this laity historical frame of reference out of period writings, as published by our LIFE magazine, with some updating of archane languaging for easier reading. Thank you and alllllllll other journeypersons for such fascinating input and grist for the "ball" mill this weekend. I'll be posting said laity excerpts before retiring this evening. FOLLOW THE GOLD!
