Many times insiders are the shorters... let me give you a for instance...let's "pretend" that Morgan and Breton, knowing they were going to issues themselves stock for .01, decided to short the stock to the the tune of 4 million shares (the number of shares they issued themselves), when the stock was in the $3.00 range... they cover with shares that cost them .01....nice profits huh?
