David, Globex has been backing off you may not get your morning rally into a High Noon, yet who's counting minutes. Import autos sales off in Japan, they're waiting to see where budgets roll. I agree with the big techs being vulnerable on earnings news (MOT), I'd add financials with any connection to Asia, brokerage stocks usually don't benefit from a fall, BA orders?, AA reports tomorrow.. we'll see what happens. One thing for sure is that moves are so fast these days one has to be in it and jump fast or get slammed on the rebound.

tomorrow.

Re: Nasdaq market action. The Wall Street Journal Article on Microsoft blew my scenario of an early morning rally (damn sharks!! stealing our meat!!) Of course, the rally to the 1248 target would have played out with the strong open had it not been for Jaws4. so the key level now becomes 1220 on the NDX, which is the opposite target of the 1248 that SHOULD have been reached this morning. As long as we close below this area today, and continue to trend lower, the scenario discussed is very much intact, albeit with slightly higher bottom targets which i'll update later.

Yours,

David

David,

I have a couple April 50 puts on CSCO that I picked up a while back.

In your scenario, any chance of them getting in the money? CSCO closed at 68 5/16 today.

I will probably do better with my April 55s on MOT.

Any opinions appreciated. We'll WATCH next week and see what happens.

TIA,

HB
