"'roid ragers" ???? Are you saying I ingest anabolic steroids? Are you sure you're not Bob Monski?? Look, you think you're very clever, but let me explain something to you....Androgens, or anabolic steroids are derivatives of testesterone. Each of us men, have a certain level of testesterone and a level of estrogen the endocrine system works at maintaining, homeostasis. An athlete who ingests large amounts of anabolic steroids (testerone) disrupts that balance. What occurs is estrinism, and the excess testerone is converted into estrogen. Male athletes will develop female secondary sexual characteristics, i.e., gynocomastia (grow breasts).....so, if an athlete ingests steroids , i.e., a bodybuilder, with the hope of increasing muscle size, what occurs is the retention of nitrogen and water, your muscles store carbohydrate(as glycogen) in the muscles...I believe for every gram of glycogen you retain/store 8 grams of water. So, since muscle is over 90% water, there is the illusion of 'growth'... the testicles also atrophy with the estrinism, Y'see Martin, I'm a fighter, a boxer, a Pug....I explained to you why steroids are contraindicated to begin with, but....boxing is a mans game...you face another man one on one, you?, you're anonymous, and apparently illiterate too....Puhrty said Mork was "shorting OVIS"...he didn't describe the Zapara situation, maybe its time to up the Geritol dosage, huh? Secondly, let me hear you deny that Mork was shorting Ovis out of Canada, set me straight. IMO, steroids may do you good! Pugs
