As far as I know, it needs many years. The critical issue on mining company especially in gold is how much gold reserves does company has. Of course, it needs professional or independent geologist research. As soon as the company get its results, usually the stock price will fly to the moon....:)

So, don't forget to do your DD before making any decision....:)
