<< Glad to see you still don't let the facts get in your way. >> Behave yourself! You don't win any points by being snotty. << The national debt which you say "exploded" under Republican leadership was the product of a Democrat Congress. >> Interesting point, on your part. According to you, under weak Republican leadership, the Democratic congress did whatever they wanted. On the other hand, the vastly expensive military buildup was one of Reagan's pet projects. And then, under Republican leadership, our savings and loans, and HUD, were looted, and had to be paid for by enormous sums of taxpayer dollars. Thank God we have a President that protects the interests of the American people. The Republican Congress, when they were not shutting down our country, were cooperating with most of President Clinton's proposals, although somewhat reluctantly. << Reagan was a great President and will be remembered for winning the Cold War among other great accomplishments >> Reagan will be remembered for the looting of the savings and loans, reading tea-leaves in the White House, over-building a costly military, being a weak leader, and just being there while Gorbachev broke the back of communism. But, I believe very firmly, that, if America had not stood firmly against communism, over the decades, and if our military hadn't been there to stand in harms way, and to sacrifice their lives, the world would be overrun by dictatorships right now. We would probably not be free. The Internet might never have existed. << What will our current philanderer in Chief be remembered for? Not the so-called "accomplishments" for which you seem to think he deserves credit. >> President Clinton will be known for his many achievements, in spite of having a Republican congress and a well funded, partisan attack against his office. Most of the unsubstantiated attacks against Clinton are politically motivated. Even if President Clinton has had an affair, during his life, if you throw out his accomplishments, you have to throw out almost every one of our past Presidents' accomplishments, dating back to George Washington. Do you think that our founding fathers were all virgins? According to her girl friend, right after Paula Jones met with Governor Clinton, Paula was all excited and boasted about meeting him. Then, several years later, funded by conservative, fundamentalist causes, she mounts a personal attack against President Clinton. The American people are not stupid. If it smells like a setup, if it looks like a setup, if there is evidence of a setup, guess what??????? It is a setup! Regards, Bob
