The Alcatel DVR (digital video radio) family enables broadcasters to simultaneously transport HDTV and existing analog signals. It also creates significant cost and ease-of-installation advantages for broadcasters. The flexibility of the DVR family is impressive with its ability to carry 45 Mb/s or 90 Mb/s of digital video over one STL.
