I agree. Still it sounds very attractive to have a universal thing that is good for everything.

What I have found is that usually it is the designs that are very general and good for everything do not deliver the best performance.

But with the PCs it could be different because the standartization makes it more usefull and marketable and opens roads to more and more software being written for it.

Seems to me that this is the territory that AMD lives on also.
