You are exactly right. And hard drive capacity growth is something that Iomaniacs have refused to see, and as a result get punished for it. The average user WILL NEVER fill up their 6 Gig internal hard drive.

Gotta agree with you on this one... I read yesterday that 18 gig.!!! hard drives are on the way... There will always be a market for removable / portable storage but these humongous hard drives IMO can't help but reduce the need for 100 meg. ZIP disks...
