So does anyone have a guess as to when LSI will come out with a "Universal" wireless chipset, covering CDMA/TDMA/GSM/analog? I imagine vendors would line up for a handset that could work with all the biggies...

Also, any chances LSI could be providing the chipset for the Globastar handsets being delivered by ERICY? I know VLSI has worked with ERICY in the past, but the LSI chipsets seem to be getting a good bit of press lately.

Lastly, with Casio and Minolta now on board, looks like DCAM is starting to roll... hopefully we'll get an earnings report on the upside, and I'm expecting an overwhelmingly positive conference call..

Thanx for the story Paul. I put it on the News Only Thread for
Addi, TSO, shane and other readers of the thread. Since production
is scheduled for the first quarter of 1999, I guess we will not
see the benefit on the financial sheets for awhile. However this
certainly adds to the company visibility and should help the stock
price over this year as the market discounts in advance.
