The one thing I always felt when I traded stocks is that it was important to have a "feel" for the stock you were trading. I have a friend who trades almost nothing but DELL and CPQ. And he trades very large....he used to be a CBOE MM, started on the floor when he was 17 working summers for his father and uncle. So, if you have a "feel" for IBM, definitely go for it.
