What a bargain to buy ORCL at this level!


Don't be so sure. That EPS number -7.00, is in truth meaningless - it reflects the large writeoff from last spring.

However, the reason Apple is priced where it is current/future earnings. Whisper numbers for this quarter are as high as $0.80/share. And that's for Apple's historically weakest quarter, Q2, which ended on Mar 31st.

The fact is, Apple's earnings per share will likely be considerably higher than Oracle's for the year.

(Part of this is because Apple only has about 130 million shares outstanding).
