FYI.....The display is the Kopin product, and like the stock (KOPN), it is "well suited to augmented reality." <G>

The blivet in the middle of the lens doesn't bother you? Do you wear glasses? It might be tolerable under certain circumstances, but . . .

I have a high tolerance for "stuff" on my glasses, but I think that little reflector would really be intrusive, right in the middle of the visual field (where it needs to be if it is to remain small). This isn't a very new idea (as alluded to on the site, mentioning the DARPA support).

But, you do have to acknowledge the compact implementation! JimA

Hi Maurice,

If you are looking around at devices like that, check out MVIS. Microvision has caught my brothers attention. They have a device that actually paints an image on your retina through an eye glass like frame mounted contraption. Boeing is supposedly looking at it.

Could be a very different application. I do not know.
