Rocky,

I'm afraid (not really ;-)) ) that I cannot support your main thesis... that this is the end of the world. 6 3/4 does violate the S1 support point, but the S2 support line/point, which is at 6.5 is a longer term and thus stronger support point. In fact it is the overall bearish support line. That is ~4% below 6.75, but is only $.25 for most people who do not think in terms of percentage moves. Today the NASDAQ is taking a pounding, the Technology Index is taking a pounding, the Disk Drive Index is getting beat up, just about every tech stock is down except LU and AMD. And you are crowing about a 1/16 move in an already beatup stock. I expect to see some selling pressure on any general market pullbacks from now until earnings are reported.

Ben A.

PS What chart are you looking at and what analysis technique are you claiming to be using when looking at this chart?

Rocky, here's what my charts tell me:

Stochastic Osc.--- oversold
On Balance Vol.---Negative Trend
Money Flow --- Positive Trend
Resistance Level--- ~6.75
Volume--- Low

If IOM closes today below 6.75, it has then broken it resistance level and more than likely is headed lower.

Stock Bull

PS: Hang in here Rocky, don't let the other member of this thread get you down.

Rock the Crockhead, The last time you mentioned a girl, you said
your girlfriend gave you a Nintendo64 game machine for Christmas.
Does this sweet cookie know you are turning on the charm with
other chicks by showing them folded copies of your IOM posts?
Tisk, tisk, what a sly dude. Why don't you show them how you sold
AOL at $62 as an short and are sweating its rise into the mid $70s.
That ought to get you a shot working their presidential knee pads.
These silly bimbos must love to sooth your pain and suffering
since they sure aren't getting a fancy dinner or flashy carats
from a perennial loser like you. Crazy posting for dumb bimbo meat,
what an occupation.

To your dreams of vapor orbs, snug in their bed.
Regrets, David S.
Long on Intel, Iomega and WorldCom

Rocky you are a hoot!

I return to my office and log-in and I see that it has been the Rocky show all morning. I have this vision of you between projects hunkering down in your apartment in the dark, surrounded by dirty underwear and two day old pizza hacking away at your computer, dreaming of ways to put an anti-Iomega spin on the day's news. If those of us that still see some value to the company are Iomaniacs then you are certainly an AntiIoManiac.

Rocky as I have told you before, if you want to brag about being right it only counts if you are correct for the right reasons....something lacking in too many of your arguments.

Some questions....

Do you remember when black and white t.v.s as big as your bedroom cost $500? Do you remember when portable radios were as large as suitcases? Do you remember when computers cost millions of dollars? The point is that every product starts at a pretty basic level of sophistication and at a premium price, so all this crap you spout about the cost of IOM products, the Clik!, digital photography, etc., is well...just crap.

More questions...

If big hard drives are bad for Zip and Jaz why aren't they bad for Sony, Orb and SparQ? If this is a dying niche then why are all of these companies bothering spending the money to bring out new products?

And finally, why are you so possessed by Iomega?
