Bob,

The daily, weekly and monthly trends as indicated on the PEI Website are strictly technical. I believe they are from computer analysis and do not reflect any thoughts Armstrong or his staff may have about factors such as his view that Silver has been or is subject to manipulation. I haven't followed his trend indicators long enough to know how much faith, if any, have in them. And, I don't necessarily agree with his views on any subject. I was just bringing the information to the attention of the thread. I understand that he has a very good record, particularly in projecting currency rates.

With respect to Arnold's rumor that Buffett sold 1/3 of his silver, it is interesting that Arnold was pushing the Silver conspiracy bit back in July, I believe, of 97, before Armstrong mentioned it. From what I understand, Arnold has been a bear on Silver for a long time. I will be very interested in what Buffett has to say about the latest rumor, and at this point, it is only that. I suspect Arnold had a lot to do with the fall-off in the POG and well as the POS today. I see the rumor as having about the same credibility as the rumor that buffett bought Silver because of battery technology.

Back to the yard work.

Cheers,
Larry
