One point about the merger, that I guess they are not "talking up" on CNBC, is that it is a long way from approval. I don't know......I seem to recall Congress knocked down the attempt to get rid of "Smoot-Hawley" or whatever the legislation was that barred banks from merging with stock houses and insurance companies. I think there is more doubt there than it appears.
