With a merger they can cook the books I'm shocked!;-) Seriously, how's this deal going to be viewed if the market does tank? Between Asia and the normal behavior of securities industry stocks in a bad market environment, those rushing in to buy these today are likely to be very unhappy in a few months. In addition, how much of a hurry do you think Congress would be to change the laws for these guys if the stock market has the masses back home pissed off.
