This is abnormal, as always the small investor will find out the reason the stock is down so much after the damage has been done. This move is typical prior a big swing either way in the coming days. Overall this is a dog day for the techstocks and it's scary considering the strenght of the DOW and the NAS not even "trying to rebound".

Don't fool yourself that anything is safe!!

I agree that 38 is a "support" level (ipo price) but there is as yet no news for the drop. Whatever that might be, I want it fully priced in before dedicating more cash. -7% .vs. a sector -2% is not a time to buy.

I agree that this is looking like the right place to buy CIEN. I've been watching it for a few weeks. However, it may be dumb of me, probably will be dumb, but I'm not buying right now because I'm afraid that the market will temporarily stall right here and take everyone down a notch. The general market is very much overbought here and with tax day and earnings around the corner now is the logical time for a 5% market correction. If I was gonna buy something then CIEN is a good bet since it has a lot of support here, technically. Anyone else worried about the overall market? Even if there is a correction I think CIEN should hold at 30 at worse.
