Jane, can you cite your source for your statement that homosexual studies are done by homosexuals? I would need substantial proof of that to believe it, but certainly do have an open mind, so I will be waiting for a url or two from you documenting that. Now I am a little confused about part of your post. I cannot tell if you are praying FOR me, so that I come to no harm, or against me. Could you please clarify that? As far as the Feelings thread goes, all the women over there who I email and have any knowledge about in terms of their private lives, are heterosexual married women, with children, or unmarried heterosexual women. While there may certainly be lesbian women over there, I would not be so rude as to inquire, and it makes absolutely no difference to me anyway, because I have had homosexual and transsexual friends and do not judge people based on their sexual identity. I am heterosexual, happily married, with a teenaged girl who seems resoundingly heterosexual , even though she has always been around homosexuals, as well. Of course, there are no homosexuals in my family for the three generations back that I know of, so I guess she did not inherit a lesbian gene. I think you must be misinformed about child molesters, Jane. They can be men or women, heterosexual or homosexual. Many male child molesters prey on both boys and girls. This is not only a crime, but also a serious compulsive disorder, and I have never met anyone, heterosexual or homosexual, who does not think these people should be locked up in jail where they cannot hurt any more children. I can see how you might have gotten confused, however, if you just read the news reports about all the Catholic priests who molested alter boys. In these cases, they were homosexual as well as molesters. I guess the most logical way to put this would be: all male child molesters who exclusively molest male children are most likely homosexual. However, very, very few male homosexuals are also child molesters, and the desire to molest children has absolutely nothing to do with whether you are male or female, heterosexual or homosexual. Priests and ministers molest children, so we can also conclude that doing God's work does not protect anyone from being a child molester. I was baptized as a Christian, Jane. I even have a Bible with my name in it, and the date of my baptism. So I certainly feel quite free to continue to discuss Jesus, and have no intention of stopping. But I would add that everyone on earth has the right to discuss Jesus, whether they are Christian or not. Jesus was a prophet, and the same essential truths are found in all the major religions. The Buddha and Christ say many of the same things, sending the same message, for example. And of course EVERYONE who is interested has a moral obligation to monitor the words and deeds of people who say they are Christian but spout hatred, ignorance and racism, for they are truly evil, and a danger to the rest of the populace of Earth.
