Motorola Inc. (MOT) 59 7/8 -5/16: semiconductor and cellular phone equipment concern posts a Q1 profit of $0.23 a share, in line with the First Call estimate, vs year-ago net of $0.53 a share; sales rose
4.5% to $6.9 bln; as expected, semiconductor and paging/cellular phone sales hurt by woes in Asia; MOT also warning that Q2 sales are expected to come in below year-ago level of $7.521 bln; hence, Q2
earnings are expected to come in below Wall Street estimates of $0.43 a share, vs year-ago net of $0.62a share; in fact, Q2 earnings could match Q1 profits.....
