I'm not sure of the intent of your post. I could interpret it in two ways.

If you are expressing an honest, straightforward sentiment you feel; I empathize. I also feel and identify with the sentiment. We all live with the condemnation of "posing" and "pretentiousness" to some extent.

or

You may be using indirect sarcasm to point out a characteristic in me. I accept the criticism. I am an "intellectual poseur".

In either case and regardless of your intent, I agree with you. It is a good thought and I take it to heart. I thank you for the reminder.
