no big deal for a guy with 1 million at the market!! why is he so annoy of losing 15000.

Some people just can't stand to see others not make the same mistakes they made. Maybe Jerry had $2,000,000 in 1990 and tried to do it on his own, follow Lady G. or even paid some Mr Bear good money to manage his portfolio or countless others only to see his stake dwindle while thousands of others listening to a free radio show saw their stakes trippel in the same time. Finally, he decided to try what this man Brinker suggests, doesn't feel like paying for a newsletter or listen to the show on a regular basis, but bets the farm on an NBR stock pick of one of the stocks that has yet to reach its full potential since it is still in its accumulations phase. Then he blames Bob since his portfolio is down even more. It is much easier to blame than it is to take responsibility. Wise people know this and just ignore the idiots after first trying politeness and failing. I believe Bob is truely wise and will be back next week (or soon after a good golf weekend).

regards
Kirk (king of the too-long sentence today) out

Francis: You assumed he was telling the truth as opposed to setting Brinker up with some false claim about his portfolio and his fondness for Brinker in order to enhance his credibility when taking Brinker to task. Boy, that approach sure sounds familiar <g>.

francisP: RE:<if he had put 10% of his porfolio on utek and it is down 10-15%,i think he loses only $15000. it is absolutely no big deal for a guy with 1 million at the market!>

And had Jerry used dollar-cost-averaging over 12 months to buy that 10% and lump summed in at the $18-20 lows UTEK recently hit, he could even be sitting on an unrealized profit at this point. That's why I agree with those who saw Jerry with an agenda to embarrass Bob on his own program. If Jerry wasn't Rillinois, he's got to be related to Rillinois for sure !
