This just in APRIL 6, 1998 TCT Announces OEM Contract Supply Agreement CALGARY, ALBERTA--Thermal Control Technologies Corp. (ASE:TCT NASD OTC BB:TCTCF) and Road King De Mexico, S.A. De C.V. of Monterrey, Mexico hereby announce that TCT and Road King have agreed to enter into a one year OEM contract whereby TCT will be the exclusive original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of Charge Air Coolers (CAC's) for factory installation on Road King's Class 8 heavy duty truck line. Solicitors for TCT and Road King are preparing formal documentation which will be signed in early April. TCT began supplying CAC's to Road King in March 1998. Road King manufactures heavy duty trucks for sale into the U.S.A., Mexico, South Africa and Colombia. Road King currently manufactures approximately 40 Class 8 heavy duty trucks per month and is negotiating several contracts throughout Central and South America. Through subsidiaries and affiliated companies of Road King, TCT has also secured a prominent distribution network throughout Mexico. This network consists of 35 independent Freightliner and Kenworth distributors as well as servicing, repair and parts distribution. TCT is also negotiating a supply contract with Road King for complete cooling systems including CAC's, radiators, fans and other heat exchange equipment. TCT President and CEO, Blaine Maller stated: "This is the first OEM contract TCT has secured in the heavy duty truck industry and we are very excited about our new relationship with Road King. TCT products have been proven in the aftermarket and for TCT to become an OEM supplier to Road King is a strong endorsement of our technology and products. TCT is developing and testing several prototype cooling systems which should lead to new OEM supply contracts not only in the heavy duty truck industry but also in the heavy duty equipment, industrial, agricultural, marine and remote power generation industries. The demand for advanced cooling systems will continue to increase as new emission standards are implemented and larger horsepower engines are brought into production. TCT's technology enables the OEM manufacturers to meet these stringent requirements while optimizing the performance of the engine". TCT is also pleased to announce that construction of TCT's new manufacturing facility in Prescott, Arizona has begun and TCT expects to begin manufacturing CAC's at the new facility in August 1998. TCT purchased 5.5 acres of prime industrial land in the Prescott Airpark. The 30,000 square foot facility will triple the size of the current Lincoln, Nebraska plant while allowing for future expansion on the parcel. TCT also announces that CAC sales and specialty cooling package sales continue to increase. TCT's CAC sales for heavy duty trucks reached 695 in March 1998.
