Josef, thanks for posting the Wonderware article. There has been extensive discussion regarding the number of CDs Wonderware has ordered and IMO everyone should reread this press release:

Additionally, through a marketing partnership with TAVA technologies, Wonderware provides end-user customers with a limited "assessment phase" version of TAVA's PlantY2K One product. This limited time offer will be provided to Wonderware's customers at no additional cost. Using the information on this single CD, Wonderware customers can examine and understand the complete Year 2000 assessment methodologies and can begin to collect data necessary to create an essential equipment and software inventory listing for their plant facilities.

1) What does TAVA receive from Wonderware for this limited version, that Wonderware is giving away at "no additional cost"?

2) Look at what Wonderware charges for their product. Divide that into their total revenue. No way they can ship the number of CDs that people claim ... especially for a limited time offer.

3) Take a look at DDIM and Unisys. Unisys signed an agreement to bundle Ardes2K with their product and this was supposed to generate sales of thousands of CDs ... the revenue never materialized.

Regards, Bill
