Funny thing. The futures bottomed/hit the daily low (thus far) at precisely 3:15 (I was watching it, still short at the time). Funny because I thought 3:15 was a fair guess, but hitting it dead-on was a surprise.

Anyway, the other thing that's odd is that nothing is trading in sync, it appears. The futures were down over 4 at 3:15....the SPX was flat....the DJIA was up 45....the bonds closed down.

I have no idea where the Nasdaq is, I'm afraid to look. Doesn't anything trade in tandem anymore? Why do I have this feeling that there is someone in a room just like mine who was long today and made money? The futures are still down and the cash and the DJIA are up. Let's talk divergence here. Either Tuesday the futures go through the roof or the stock market retraces quite a bit.

I mean to say, they cannot decouple completely for very long.
