It may have helped the broader market but the feeling I get from the traders is that the nasdaq would have held up quite well since a lot of traders were nervous about the dow being near 9000.A lot of the inflows that are going into financials may have seeped into techs without the merger.CNBC reports a lot of market sell on close orders.
