Conclusion:

K6-3D in production and being stockpiled.


That would be the nightmare for the company whose stock price has been counted on AMD yield failure.

Kevin, bought a jr block of AMd right at the open 29 9/16's fill based on the barrons article. Looks like the Associated Press post last week was right about IBM as AMD white night. The JP story serves as confirmation. Do you supposed CPQ's pruchse of DEC and Alpha finally pushed IBM to make a move??

On AMD's website amd.com are two new documents on the K6-3D giving the instruction set and a code optimization manual. (I didn't post the complete URL because AMD forces you to come in through the home page.)
