>>...to late in the day for momentum .......traders<<

Not necessarily... today I've seen CVIA mentioned on at least one thread frequented by momentum traders. They might be figuring that this is the first of a 3-day run.
Hope that news is soon for a sustained turn around.

Best of luck,
George

Well, why not...I averaged UP (a little) and picked some up at the close. The shake-out didn't go a low as my limit order to I kept the same $$ amount and pick more up.

Although I averaged UP, my avg/share is still below the current Bid so in my case the risk is somewhat limited.

I think once folks get home from work, see and read about today's action, this thing will continue in the am. And, if the announcement is made after the bell, all bets are off on price and volume.

Good luck to all and good trading...

*ALL* I just spoke with Keith.

The delay was caused by a couple of issues: 1) both companies' books were audited, and 2) a couple of SEC filings needed to be prepared. Just wanted to reiterate the point: the lawyers have the final agreement on their hands. The impression that I got from this conversation is that the attorneys are taking their time, FedExing back and forth.

I understand it's not easy for Keith (or Jack) to give any specific dates (they are risking their credibility), as it's out of their hands righ now. I asked if we should expect any further delays, Keith said the principals are no longer involved in it, it's up to the attorneys. He also said 7 days sounds reasonable.

Best regards,

Milk
