Mastering the media is hard, but vital for targeting buyers
amcity.com

"This spring, Iomega, makers of Zip disks and drives, will kick off a sponsorship of PBS's Nova, a billboard campaign in the top 10 PC markets and a media exclusive on the subway shuttle from Grand Central to Times Square.

All this from a company that once ran ads exclusively in computer-related magazines. Media habits of PC users revealed the direction to head in for future growth."

For anyone that still cares:

Saw two commercials of the LS-120, THE LAPTOP VERSION!!

It seems that these guys are working their way from the laptop to the desktop. The commericals were cheezy as hell. If you thought IOM ads were bad, check these ads out, you'll reconsider in a second.

The motto was "Save the world." Whatever!!

While on the subject of ads, I think the best ad that's being played out there is the Pizza Hut scillion Pizza. Talk about in your face, aggresive advertising. Gotta love it if you're an investor in YUM.

And what's their motto you as? "CAN YOU HANDLE IT?"

I just love those ads and look forward to watching them everytime.
