On AOL: I hope many have the same idea as you [quiting AOL]. The word is spreading around. IMO ISP is not a good business. Low margins getting lower, plenty of competition and getting worse. people like MCI that can subsidize the service to attract long distance customers. Cable slowly raising... AOL's hope is to make it in e. commerce and web advertising. IMO they are a long way from grabbing a substantial share of a very fragmented landscape. The best means of luring people will continue to be making your site part of your mainstream advertising efforts. A banner here and there will not cut it.

On AMZN: Excellent short my only worry is the extremely large short volume. I have considered swapping some of the my AOL short for AMZN for "diversification".
