<< JW is not too complimentary towards the analysts who downgraded the
stock AFTER the fall. I was questioning that myself. Basically the story is the same, so how do you love it at 10+ and hate it at 7?? >>
Basically Randy blew it by lying to the analysts about what to expect. Now they have egg on their faces and angry clients. They're thrilled with IDX at this point. NOT! Why wouldn't they downgrade it??
We've waited all these years for some key brokerages to get on the coverage bandwagon, and what happens? It blows up in their faces. If the market for IDX products were exploding as we had hoped the insiders would have been buying boatloads of shares. I owned this stock since 3 and insiders have been net sellers in all that time. I bitched about it before but overlooked it. No more. All great growth stocks have large insider buys when they know the story is improving. If they want to step up and start purchasing their own stock I'll be right behind them. Till then I wouldn't be buying - we need confirmation that the story is getting better. We are hearing from Randy that the story has gotten worse. It matters little that revenues are growing if margins are shrinking. This pre-announcement has all the feel of "when will the next shoe drop". Todays trading illustrates the point - any up-tick, people want out. The time has come for a new CEO to take the helm. All of course, IMHO.
