As far as AAPL going down, it held up better than most of the techs
(IBM was up, but most PC companies were down). When AAPL was in the
teens it was almost completely uncorrelated with the movement of the
tech stocks. Now that it's recovered it does show correlations with
other techs.


It's correct. Now, Apple's stock behavior is clearly following the
overall pattern, which indicates its stability and back to normal
like others.
