Rich, I agree that things at Orbit look pretty ugly. The DIIG CEO said that Orbit has had problems ever since they bought it, but that now they are taking strong steps to fix them. My question - Why not earlier? and also, Why weren't shareholders told about the seriousness of the problems before now? This didn't happen overnight. And a $54 million charge isn't exactly "chump change" to this company.

Maybe you're right that they should just hang a "For Sale" sign on the fab. If not, then at least, I hope they don't continue to throw good money after bad. The CFO did say that there wouldn't be significant additional cash requirements at Orbit. Unfortunately, I recently violated this adage by purchasing more DIIG at $21.
