They call it self-evident for a reason sister. There's a shift to simple, straightforward, easy-to-use business tools to reduce the amount of time required to train staff and produce a work-product. It's work-product that counts and for 99% of what wordprocessing software is used for Microsoft's brittle, bloated hogware is overkill. That's the shift and there isn't anything Microsoft can do to stop it short of giving away their office products for a song.

Win 98 has few IT fans -- so far www5.zdnet.com When Microsoft Corp. ships Windows 98 later this quarter, it will get a cool reception from corporate America. --- You better start worrying about microslop. Looks like Corporate America is finally waking up and realize that they are no better of than they were 10 years ago except office productivity is slowing down due to weak software and IT cost and software upgrade cost are skyrocketing. Or could it be they see that the NC down the road will be the best solution to the problem. JMHO Mike
