Jobs Q&A from January 98. It is worth re-reading now as it talks about what is coming "this summer"

What's even more revealing to read is the recent (Sunday, I think) page 1 story on Apple in the NYTimes' special "technology" section, which essentially foretells Apple's inevitable demise, from the quirky, to the ridiculous, to the simply non-existant.

It's originality, bold insight, clever interpretation of history, and incisive conclusions will quite bowl you over. . .

The stunningly original and unexpected analogy between the Mac and the Sony Betamax is the central theme, and I, for one, expect that it'll win a Pulitzer Prize.

Lest you think that good management, brisk sales, a string of profitable quarters, and promising new technologies will spark a certain comeback for aapl. . .

. . .let this article, the ignoramus who wrote it, and the millions who undoubtedly read it unquestioningly as fact be a reminder of the awesome mental inertia your stock is struggling against.

long, but edgy and looking to take profits. . .
